Lourmarin Love Affair
The Story
Nicole & Michael's elegant and romantic wedding in tones of blush, sage and a deeper Burgundy red took place at a luxury villa in Provence. When it came time to exchanging rings, Nicole gave Michael a special wristwatch in lieu of the traditional wedding band. The piece of jewelry was indeed a reminder of their time spent together and the time to come.
At the conclusion of their ceremony, guests tossed paper airplanes down the aisle to congratulate them on their way. This unique exit-toss was a nod to the groom's career as an airline pilot that took both him and Nicole to destinations around the world. Afterwards, everyone dined at long family-style wood tables below strung market lighting. Ensuing dinner, a 'pour decisions' gin & whiskey bar opened and the guests continued to dance the night away keeping their spirits high.
KIND WORDS FROM THE COUPLE
If it were not for Nomad Republic’s impeccable taste and eye for knowing what we wanted, we'd have overlooked our final destination and venue. They were able to source some of the best and amazingly talented vendors in the region. Without their network of trusted vendors, contacts and regional knowledge, we'd not have been able to replicate this on our own no matter how much research we put in.
