Chateau wedding in the South of France

The Story

Tara & Gabriel tied the knot at Chateau Saint Georges in the beautiful hillside of Grasse, in the South of France. Their wedding was a marriage of cultures, languages, religions and countries. Their celebration was supposed to be set entirely outside but nothing went as planned and they received the only day of rain in Grasse that September of 2021.

The couple's Jewish ceremony took place inside the Chateau Saint Georges' grand „Salon Napoleon”. After a lavish aperitif by the indoor pool, dinner was served in the Chateau's gardens where a crystal tent has been set up for the occasion.

Between each course, the couple and their guests hit the dance floor for the hora and other traditional dances. Their dinner reception ended with a speech by the bride & groom who invited everyone to join them inside for cake cutting and their first dance, signaling them that the evening was segueing to PARTY mode. Tara & Gabriel's wedding weekend ended with a sunny brunch in the Chateau's gardens.

KIND WORDS FROM THE COUPLE

Working with Nomad Republic was a dream. Stephanie put up with all my crazy ideas and all the crafting I did to make the decor exactly what I imagined. Even though the whole wedding was planned for outside and we ended up receiving the only day of rain in 30 days, she was able to make sure the space was so beautiful and intimate, that the wedding was still magical and special.
