THE STORY
Nicolle & Jason invited family and friends to join them for a romantic chic wedding in the South of France. Their big day was an all-white affair with the addition of greenery and a touch of soft blush and gold. The duo sealed their love at Domaine des Grottes amongst century-old olive trees and vines. Following an aperitif of Champagne and French wine, the couple and their guests dined under the stars with long tables set up in the estate’s courtyard, lots of candles and fairy lights.
After the main course, everyone walked to the venue’s pool area, sparklers in hand, for dessert, cake and dancing. Being a fashion designer, it was obvious that Nicolle would want to create her own wedding gown. She fell for a delicate Chantilly lace and luxurious silk double face charmeuse fabric on a trip to Paris and worked with a pattern maker in San Fransisco to create. After dinner, the bride changed into a more playful, party dress designed by Liz Martinez.
Nicolle & Jason’s wedding week in the South of France was eventful. All started with the 80th birthday of Nicolle’s grandmother at the charming village of Seillans, and ended with their pool party at their venue for a recovering brunch. In between, the pair hosted a laid-back welcome dinner at Villa Mauresque, a luxury hotel overlooking the Mediterranean. Hosting their nuptials in the South of France gave them the opportunity to enjoy a honeymoon in Europe, starting with the French Riviera and moving on to the Amalfi Coast in Italy.
KIND WORDS FROM THE COUPLE
Nicolle & I wanted to say a HUGE thank-you again to you for all your magnificent help. There is no way we’d have managed to have our wedding in France without you. We are very grateful having found you.
