Tessa & Jason’s wedding on the French Riviera was an effortless chic, elegant classic affair with abundant candlelight. To resonate with Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild’s pastel tones, the couple chose a soft color palette of white, ivory and blush with a touch of green and grey foliage. Gold accents were incorporated throughout their wedding design, in the elegant tableware but also in the beautiful reception stationery. Guests were welcomed into the Florentine Gardens to the beautiful sounds of a harp and a violin. The live music continued during cocktail hour, providing a romantic ambience.
For the reception decor, their florists Wayne Riley Flowers mixed gold mercury timbales and crystal tea lights with soft and loose bouquets to create a natural and romantic feeling decor that perfectly matched their venue’s backdrop. The whole dinner reception area was lit with oversized glittering chandeliers that framed the central alley of the upper part of the Villa’s French Gardens. For the church, their floral designers opted for an abondance of roses sitting on each side of the balustrades as well as elegant and romantic candle decor. An organist, a vocalist and a violon player provided a musical backdrop to the most special parts of the celebration.
After the cake cutting on the Villa’s terrace, everyone walked to the venue’s inside patio for snacks and dancing to the sound of Ben Spencer’s tunes. The duo chose Amelia Soegijono and Matteo Castelluccia to capture it all beautifully.
